Let me be clear, this is all rumor. Understand? Rumor. IF that kind of
blather bothers you, please don't read beyond this point.

Also, don't jump on the messenger. I can see where some of these moves could
work out. I can also see a whole new disaster in the making. At any rate, I
just thought most of you would be interested in any scrap or hint of where
we may be headed.

First, as most of you have already heard, Pelini is becoming more and more
likely as the new head coach. He is likely to bring in some Nebraska guys
like Tom Rathman as offensive coordinator. Rathman is currently RB coach for
Lane Kiffen. That level of inexperience as an offensive coordinator worries
me. Another year to the dogs while rookie coaches learn their craft? Or,
maybe RB coach, the title, doesn't reveal how involved he's been, and people
in the program know this. Thus, it could be a great move.

Frost is rumored to be on board for an offensive position and will head up
Nebraska in-state recruiting, with a new emphasis on walk-on candidates.

Of the current staff, Bill Busch is most likely to be retained. Osborne is
interested in keeping Watson on, but realizes he has to let Pelini make
these moves. 

On that note, Bo might want to bring Mike Stoops in as defensive
coordinator. If not, he would like Marvin Sanders, but Sanders has
contractual issues.

Obviously, if these rumors are true, Osborne has been talking extensively,
and very specifically with Pelini. That leads me to believe that all this
chatter would be impossible to keep from Callahan and his staff. Always a
difficult place for everyone involved.

IF IF IF, these RUMORS are true, that is.
