[Husker] what happened

Well that would depend. I would say that the only players we had that wouldn't have fit nicely into any system played qb. Our old running backs, Ahman Green, Lawerence Phillips, Damon Benning, etc could catch a pass out of the back field and our old recievers, Irving Fryar, Reggie Baul, Clestor Johnson, Matt Davidson, could catch a pass as well as block. We have had several linemen play on Sunday so I would guess they could pass block a little as well as run block.

I dont think Frazier, Gill, or Crouch would have fit very well into this system but the rest I think would have faired just fine.

I have to agree wholeheartedly. These 3-4 and 5 star recruits look like
mere mortals to those 2-3 star kids that played with heart and guts. I
would take "heart" in a college football player with marginal talents and
the desire to be an overacheiver. I think that Zach Tailor was much better
above the shoulders than Keller will ever be. Sam may have that 6 ft 4 inch
height, but is very predictable.
