Come on - there is NO WAY IN THE WORLD Pelini would have said anything to
this kid other than he plans to be at LSU next year. If he would - that is
highly unethical and probably illegal in the eyes of the NCAA and he would be
sanctioned. The reason you choose NE over LSU ? PLAYING TIME - This kid will
start next year for the Huskers and be the cornerstone to a comeback for the
Blackshirts - or that is the sell at least. On LSU- he barely sees the field
for two years and then is one of many, and Pelini is probably a head coach at
a mid major somewhere anyway. That was how Callahan got his first classes
also - you play now because 'we are falling into mediocrity'. That is how he
got the current class -"look we are gonna be 4-8 -you can bring us back to the
top and be a star"

GREAT NEWS about Kuli. But we still need Gray and other players like him as
well.
Interesting conjecture on Pelini. However, I think it would be unethical
for Pelini to "direct" Kuli to NU no matter what the circumstances involving
Bo's coaching future. I sincerely hope this isn't the reason Kuli chose NU.

Who needs Jonas Gray? According to the Huskerpedia site, five-star
defensive end Simi Kuli, the nations top-rated JUCO player according to
Rivals.com, reportedly commits to the Huskers. I find this very
interesting because this kid had LSU at the top of his list and picked
Nebraska over the Tigers. Has he perhaps spoken to Mr. Pelini in Baton
Rouge about Bo's future plans? Lol, just a hunch, but it seems unusual
given the current turmoil that anyone would pick the Huskers over LSU.
Take this for what it's worth, I guess.
