He does, and his refusal to acknowledge his own shortcomings prohibits 
his attempting to change anything he is doing. Do you suppose he has 
tried to figure out WHY the season has gone so badly? Apparently not, 
else - one would think - he might try something different. The inability 
to adapt is fatal to just about any competitive endeavor.
