I think with Purify it is one of two things.
1. He isn't really putting in any effort and his mind is elsewhere. (I
completely understand if this is the problem he has had a few issues this year.
I doubt it though)

2. This is still part of his punishment from his summer troubles. He
doesn't start, but usually is in pretty quick and does not get first team reps in
practice( and you know how important first team is to Callahan - ie never
seeing Ganz)

These are the only two explanations I can see. Purify needs to get the ball
TONS more - but if you were one who said he should not have been returned to
the team - well you should be happy - because he hasn't come back - yet!

Yeah he's special. Same things we heard about Lucky and Leon Jackson and
Cody Glenn and etc. etc. Until they produce on the field it means nothing. I
have no doubt that this kid has talent but if you dont have someone that
develops that talent it doesn't do much good.

Yeah, jj, I understand that. Probably my biggest beef with this coaching
staff. We've had some very talented players come through here the past 3
or 4 years and I just don't see that talent develop. I don't care what
system you're running, if it takes players 2 or 3 years to understand things
enough to see the field (even as a WR or RB) then I really wonder if there
isn't something wrong with that system.

That and if you can tell me why we don't throw at Purify 10-15 times a game,
you're a smarter man than I am.
