Is there any reason why this guy's name keeps coming up?  I remember it 
being brought up during the 2004 coaching search.  The only reasons I 
can think of are superficial ones:

1.)  Bob Devaney came from Wyoming
2.) I think he was born in Nebraska.

In 2004, he might have looked like a good hire, but he's only had one 
winning season at Wyoming and is currently sitting at 4-3.  He did a 
great job at Northern Colorado and Montana, but he hasn't been as 
succesful (yet) at Wyoming.  If we're looking for a coach from a 
"smaller" 1-A school, I think there are better options (Paul Johnson at 
Navy would probably be my pick...I just love his offense).
