Ooh, I HATE that 'BTE' (BTE Team Ever) label, it's the kiss of death!

The last few teams in any sport I can come up with that it was applied 
to (including the Chicago Bears in 1985 and USC's football team just 
3-4 weeks ago) got beat shortly afterwards.  

If memory serves me correctly, it's been applied to two VB teams in the 
last 10 years or so, one Nebraska squad (that lost in the semi-finals as 
I recall) and one Long Beach State team (that I think failed to make the 
Final Four.)

So, with that in mind, is Kansas's football team (their) best team ever?  :-)
