I'll chirp in here myself from the stands.
Negative (it's easier):
Coz had 8 in the box probably less than 5 times today, which for the life of
me I can't understand. Watching their QB throw you could tell that was not
his strong suit. Not until late in the 4th quarter did we put those 8 in
the box. Yikes. There were roughly 84,400 people at the game that knew aTm
was going to run and run often (and often up the middle) but apparently Coz
did not.
To his credit though, only on 1 3rd and 22 did we only rush 3 people...Our
dline got abused once again. 12 straight quarters without creating a
turnover....
McKeon had 1 good play, aside from that, there were 3 or 4 times where he
looked like he thought he was playing touch football.
LOTS of injuries today, probably the most all season and I think Ruud and
Byford are both on the more serious side.
Keller just really looks 'off' lately and his crisp on-the-target throws he
hit early this year just aren't there anymore.
Positive:
Helu is WAY quicker than I thought he was. He has such a great burst on
that edge. Q looked great minus the fumble. Marlon had 125 yards
receiving today and continued to do what he does best.
We had 2 very bad calls by the officials, but to be fair, one was way after
the game was out of reach.
Octavien I thought played pretty dang hard today. Asante and Thenarse made
some good hits and Culbert got quite a bit of playing time and didn't look
terrible.
Not really any dropped passes today, most of the incompletes were just off
the mark. Maybe one catch by Swift on the seam route for a deep ball should
have been caught.
It was nice outside...
