BC hasn't done much with the 5 star recruits he has here anyway so whats the difference? Either we get a bunch and do nothing with them or we dont get them. And whos to say that the new guy isn't someone they would play for anyway? It seems you guys are making the assumption that if we fire BC we are going to the option offense or something. We dont know what kind of offense would be ran no matter who became the next coach, so we may not lose any.

a 'backup' option in case he's fired.

Among those: Blaine Gabbert 5-star QB, Jonas Gray 4-star RB (#4 per
rivals), Bryce Givens 4-star OL, and Will Compton 4-star LB. Most sounded
like they were really just looking in case Callahan is fired, Givens seems
most likely to jump ship. The others still sound pretty solid N if Callahan
is here.

Our other 5-star Baker Steinkuhler (OL) is all N and probably wouldn't
change his mind regardless. Yes, that Steinkuhler family. Even though he's
a local kid, there are some that believe he's the most talented kid in this
class.
