I really do hope I'm wrong, but it seems to me that certain potential 
recruits have given their oral commits because they view 
Callahan-Nebraska primarily as a gateway to the NFL and cash galore. 
It may well be that some current squad members signed letters of 
intent to NU for that very reason. Bo Ruud may have had that in mind 
when he recently said that some guys were playing AT Nebraska rather 
than FOR Nebraska.

If that is indeed the case, do the Huskers need recruits with that 
particular mindset?
