FWIW, Warren Buffett had a Tom Osborne for Governor sign on his lawn last year. It wouldn't surprise me if makes a substanial donation to the athletic department.  It also wouldn't surprise me if we don't hear about it.  He is a very private guy.

I've heard a lot of rumors lately involving Warren Buffet, but I don't 
understand where they're coming from. From everything I know about the 
man, he would seem like a very unlikely candidate to donate money to UNL 
athletics.
