What kids say and what adults say are two different things, and I am
talking about "adults" in the stands.

Oh that was witty!

Boy was I a sage when I penned the above. Taking out your feelings
about a parent - any parent on a kid no matter what age is wrong. I
have sat in the same row with you (or someone very like you) at many
a high school game. This attitude that I can say what I want at a
game is what makes many kids stop playing sports.
Now by the time you have graduated to big time college football you
should have gotten a bit tougher. Booing at the game was a
discussion topic a week or so ago - at least those guys were being
booed for something they were at least in part responsible for.
When you have to start picking on minor children of athletic coaches
to make yourself heard you need to do a little re-evaluation of your
behavior.
