Kevin Kugler on KOZN-1620 AM radio in Omaha has stated
a few times that Harvey conducted a campus-wide survey
last year. The results were posted on the
Chancellor's web site and showed that the Athletic
Department had the worst morale of any department at
Nebraska-Lincoln. When Kugler mentioned this earlier
this year, I went looking for it but could not find it
anywhere.
In any respect, if this report is true, it would
confirm the issues that led to Steve Pederson's
dismissal, but also raises the question as to why
Harvey Perlman would extend Pederson's contract with
these issues known, especially in conjunction with
Pederson's issues with the media and former players.
