I have to admit that when he was hired I was pretty indifferent but thought it could be a good one as he was a Husker Guy. He started the Husker Nation at the pavillion before the games and that is a great thing for kids and I hope the next AD keeps that going. And when he brought back all the former players I got real excited about Steve. That sure didn't last long and I think that is probably the last good thing he did for NU. Maybe I'm wrong but I cant think of much else he did that was very good.

Why should he have never been hired? He seemed highly qualified and was a Heritage Husker and had TO's blessing? It seemed like a good idea at the time. I heard rumors that Perlman gave him orders to can Solich, but that's just a rumor, probably as accurate as the Solich love child rumor.

Just like with my Harley, if you have to ask why I use Macs, you
probably wouldn't understand.
