The logic is pretty simple:
Why was Pederson fired? Because the football program is in disarray.
What did he have to do with that? He hired the coach.
The only logical conclusion is that the coach is the problem.
Callahan is toast. (Although he will walk away with several million 
dollars out of the deal; we should all be "toasted" that way.)
