Not about the football program? Give me a break.
Maybe the program, fans, et al deserves Harvey if they buy this.

I think if you listened to the news conference - this was not as much about
what was going on in the football program as it was about the style of
Pederson and all the stuff he heard from people after the team started going
South.
He said he sent an E-mail to key staffers before the extension - and he
got
two responses - one glowing, one bad. He said for whatever reason, after
the team started struggling - maybe because people felt more comfortable
saying
it or they thought they could pile on or what, but he started hearing
things
about his style and how he was treating people. I am sure - if the team
was
doing well, this all would never have come to light - but it was not only
a
football decision per say.
I also listened to Damon Bennings talk before the conference on 1620 -
being
out of state I didn't know this was on the internet - but his remarks about
the coaching staff style made me quite uncomfortable with this getting
turned
around by them. He talked about a practice where Callahan made a lineman
repeatedly run a technique over and over because he was 2 inches out of
line.
It is obvious the kids are so worried about doing something minor wrong -
that they can't play - they just get caught up in the technique. Maybe the
pros
can afford hours on 2 inches - but you only have limited time to practice
in
college.
