FW: [Husker] What's next?

Of course I'm not an aspiring Div 1 HC (nor do I play one on TV) but I still would think Nebraska would be a great job for a lot of people.
On the plusside, there are great fans, great boosters, great tradition, great facilities, a fantastic infrastructure for the right person.
On the downside is the pressure to win. But you think it's really any greater here than anywhere else? Oh, and the winters can be pretty brutal.
The interesting question is the indirect effects (and they all are indirect) on this team and the season. The umbrella that protected BC from the storm (and from whatever you imagine is falling) is now gone. Hence BC's job is more tenuous. But how many threads does he have left anyway? Does he/can he finish the season with some dignity, even success? What if the team wins three more games (please, don't ask me which ones, I don't have a clue) then its bowl game? Or does this free fall get worse?
God, 4-8, the thought gives me the chills.

I know this is premature (and purely speculative) but I was wondering if
people think a coach would WANT to come to Lincoln at this point. I
remember when Solich was let go, the comments were along the lines of
"who would be crazy enough to go there when they fired a 9-3 coach", and
so on. I wonder if this is still logical, or does the decision to boot
the guy who was behind the Solich firing make it a little more
attractive for a potential head coach? (This of course assumes Callahan
is let go, which I think at this point is a foregone conclusion, in fact
I think Callahan will resign or be let go today at the press conference)
