Didn't TexasTech just beat A&M?  Couldn't have worked too poorly for them.

I'll bet that we don't beat A&M at our place this Saturday.

Elmo has been a serial DC for several teams in the past.  Let's give him five games to turn things around.

Who? We've already discussed in the past that there's just no
practical way to hire someone mid-season ... all the competent coaches
have jobs at the moment (unless you want Texas Tech's DC). What other
coach on the team would you propose as DC?
