South Carolina was hit with 3 years of NCAA probation due to infractions 
that occured under Lou Holtz.

Notre Dame was also hit with  infractions under Lou Holtz's reign:

Minnesota was placed on 2 years probation and banned from making a

infractions that occured under Holt'z tenure.

Like it or not, probation has followed Holtz to almost every school he 
coached.  He may be a great guy to have a beer with, but I would not 
want him anywhere near Nebraska.  To label me as "ignorant" and 
"classless" and state that any criticism of Holtz is "beyond question" 
is a bit much.  If you want to attack my opinion, then do so, but leave 
the ad hominem attacks out of it.  Holt'z reputation for getting schools 
on probation is well-known and hardly unfounded, and I'm not going to 
apologize for bringing it up.
