[Husker] How bad is it?

This has been discussed in the past ad naseum, but since we all love talking about it, I'll jump in again... I think in the past people have mentioned Tommy F, Kevin Steele (at the time), Monty Kiffin, and probably some other less recognizeable names. I also think the number of past assistants probably isn't in the hundreds, but I even kept my eye on Bohl for a few years. I would also say there is something special about Solich and Turner... and I think you are right -- there is a sense of "I told you so" going on here. And I think it's time for folks to start taking those lumps that may have defended the decision (or made it). That's one of the entertaining parts of sports (perhaps on the darker side)
I'm not really wishing for anyone to get fired (for me I rarely revel in that, nor do I find it fun) -- but I think it's probably inevitable at this point. And I think history will probably suggest that a mistake was made 5 years ago. Of course you can argue that either way. But I think we know this BC thing isn't working that well at this point, and if it ends soon, it will be hard to argue that it was a good idea ever.
A&M is getting thumped by Tech. Sadly I dislike Tech worse than A&M.

Then wouldn't it make sense to root (and mention it here whenever we lose) for the HUNDREDS of assistant coaches that have come and gone at NU over the past several decades too?

Tell me again why anyone cares if Ohio or Buffalo
wins? Those guys are gone. They don't have red N's
on their helmets.
I care. They are coached by good men who will always
be a part of Nebraska. They were not good enough for
SP and BC, but I for one love to see them win.

Most husker fans I talk with follow all the former players / coaches to see
if they win or lose, whether they're playing on the field in NFL or
coaching
on the sidelines somewhere --- it's all part of Husker Tradition.
