[Husker] Fans Mood

Leaves      I think what is really getting interesting is the fans.  I have 
stated repeatedly that NU fans are like all other fans in that they will 
support a winner.  Immediately I am reminded that Husker fans are above all 
other fans.  Well after reading the papers, reading this list, and in 
general talking to people I am becoming more convinced than ever I am right 
about Husker fans being like all fans.  For a lot of seasons fans just 
haven't been put to the test (30 or so).  It is easy being "great fans" when 
your team is kicking everyone else's backside.  And why not?  People are 
people regardless of where they live or whatever team they support.  There 
articles below are just representative.  There were several articles in this 
morning's Journal Star about people that are no longer much interested.
