I don't think it was a 'make me head coach or else' thing as much as it was
a 'Pederson has treated me like crap' thing.

I don't think he would have stayed no matter what because Pederson wouldn't
give him the time of day.  He didn't return phone calls, wouldn't talk to
Bo.  He completely ignored him until he found his candidate, THEN he gave Bo
and Turner their 'cursory' interview so he could say he did it.

That's why Bo would have never stayed.  Not a chance.
