[Husker] Husker Fans, Let's Put It On The Line Against OSU

Hebrews 10:24 says……….Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love (of another Husker win) and good deeds (like tackling, blocking, running, passing, etc. – you know, just the basic fundamentals of football!). Hopefully I won't rot in Hell for paraphrasing the Bible but here’s hoping the crowd this Saturday can put aside their various feelings about the coaching staff and athletic department administrators and let the kids know we’re behind them, as the song says, “in all kinds of weather!”  

I’ve gone back and forth this week as to whether I was willing to lay my heart on the line for my team yet again after watching the debacle in Missouri.  After all, I watched my (then) Oilers blow a 30 + point lead against Buffalo in the playoffs one year and never quite recovered from that mess (unfortunately they followed me to Tennesse a few years later and have me hooked again).  But hey, this is MY team!  Not the team that I grew up with, not "Man, Woman and Child!", no "...rooskies", not even the team that had us suffering through heartbreaking losses to OU.  No Chancellor, no AD, no head coach, no defensive coordinator can take MY team away from me, no matter how they try to disguise the package (or in the case of the defensive coordinator, not disguise the package)!  So for those who are going to be at the game, give it your best shot and show the kids that playing for NU does in fact mean something, that it does represent the finest in college
 athletics.  And that they can be proud to represent MY team (and hopefully YOUR team)!
