And what do YOU think BC would tell him anyway? He sure isn't going to say "Well coach Cosgrove isn't doing his job and will probably have to be let go" now is he. He also isn't going to say "Well our players just aren' t very good and we just have to suffer through this until we get some better ones" is he. He will just throw out some coach speak and then people will repeat it like it is gold or else think he is just plain dumb for saying what he said. It would really accomplish nothing.

not know that the oven was at fault. He only knew the food was overcooked
and too salty. Replacing the cook (the patron's suggestion) would not solve
the problem.
Most of us, as fans, do not know the intricacies of a college football
program...or of an athletic department for that matter. We only see the
finished product, and we make assumptions on what we see.
Some folks on the list are much closer to the program, and they could
probably shed more light on what is going on. Maybe they can't speak up, or
won't.
One other note...has anyone directly asked Bill Callahan what is going on?
I mean, it's easy for "pundits" like Steve Sipple to make editorial
comments. Has he sat down with the Head Coach and asked him for answers?
Just wondering.
