So Glen, by inference are you suggesting it was a bad idea to change styles? You didn't say so, but that is the logical conclusion: We cannot compete in recruiting by running an offense similar to what the "more attractive schools" are using.
Hmmm, I wonder who forced the WCO changes on BC???

Haven't we just seen Mediocrity put up 450 yards per game on us so far this year?

in the old days, the attraction (for a recruit) was, since NU played a different style of football than all the "big" schools, NU was winning the competing battle for athletes, even given the disadvantages mentioned above. Now that NU is playing "NFL"-style just like everyone else, they are competing with all the 'big' schools, who all have "NFL" coaches, and none of the disadvantages..
I wonder if this is what the future of NU football is going to look like for some time, regardles of the staff.
