Perhaps you were watching LSU/Florida or USC/Stanford
instead.  The Huskers ran 68 plays last night; in
comparison, we ran 73 against Ball State.  The offense
was on the field quite a bit last night.

Last week, people defended the defense by claiming
that Iowa State's 102 plays were "ok" since they only
averaged 4.1 yards a play.

Last night, the Huskers averaged 4.4 yards a play. 
The offense has looked fine against Nevada, Ball
State, Iowa State, and USC's third stringers.  It
looked poor against Wake Forest and USC's starters. 
It looked awful against Missouri.
