Cleaning House is easy to say, but lets hear the ideas how this is done, and who the 'new hires' are. I agree things need to change, but taking the stance 'clean the house' is the easy way out. Lets hear the ideas. Back it up with strategy and 'your game plan' for the next five or six years.
I do not feel 'cleaning the house' solves anything at this point, and I do not mean in the middle of the season. Some changes need to be made and I think most of us would agree it starts with the "D"
Coz and the "D" need to be overhauled. I would suggest, someone that BC does not have a close connection with, but that he feels is a good teacher, motivator, and game planner. If BC is unwilling to make changes to the "D" then maybe that says all that needs to be said and it is time to go. I think BC will make changes. Who? Don't have a name on the tip of my fingers, yet.
