[Husker] Time's Up, Bill (fwd)

All right, I will do it. I can give up my career in
Orthopedic Device Sales for you guys. Hey, did SP
scrap that idea of his BIG corner office in the
expanded area of the stadium? I remember the big
to-do about his office taking up too much room and
being a waste of money and space.
I will tell you that I promise that I will not let
this program gravitate to mediocrity and I will NOT
surrender the Big 12 to Texas and OU! I will conduct a
one-man search for the new coach. I have my eye on a
couple of guys already who are on the hot seat with
there respective schools and an ex-NFL coach who has
little head coaching experience, (but hey, he looks
organized with his head buried in the play book on the
sidelines!)
I will also make changes to the uniforms, I thought I
would ditch the red pants and just have white ones
with a big red stripe, change our mascot (we have to
change with the times), dump our motto, "The Power of
Red" (I came up with something cool, I am going with
"Husker Power").
I also think that it is important that we get rid of
anyone in the AD that has any connections with the
"winning tradition" of the last coaching regime. I
don't care if they played here or coached here. Their
love for this school, this state, this team will get
in the way of progress of MY, er, our school. It is
important that I, er, we bring in someone who has no
idea what this school really means to the people, the
state, the fans.
Wait and see what I do for our baseball team, too!

Respectfully yours,
Tim Silvey
(future AD)

PS, I am open to your suggestions, I just don't want
to hear them.

"Not the victory but the action.
Not the goal but the game.
   In the deed the glory."
