     Well said Mike.  There is always one thing I have found missing in all 
the "fire the coach" posts over the years I have read whether speaking of NU 
athletics or other sports.  Virtually not one of the "fire the coach" posts 
ever have any clue about who the new coach should be or how to go about 
getting him.  Just "fire the coach".  Firing Callahan, Cosgrove, et al is 
fairly simple, other than working out financial details, just tell him he's 
gone.  Just remember, though, if the coach gets fired you have the same guy 
hiring the next coach as hired this one.
