I have wondered if Osborne would take the job of AD. It would be
a unifying hire and I think Osborne is up to doing well about anything
he sets his mind to.
I think that with such a change, with Pederson gone, other things are
possible. You'd think Gill, for one, would be interested. Also, I
think that Pelini left with good feelings about Nebraska, albeit not
every Nebraskan, and has stayed in touch with folks with whom he had
good relations here. If Miles doesn't go to Michigan or Pelini isn't
offered the LSU job, he might be receptive to taking the head coaching
job. In that case, I don't know if Watson would be interested in the
OC/playcalling job. It was interesting reading the tone of this
article, in thinking about NU's current situation:

I'm not sure if either Gill or Pelini are the answer for the current
situation, but I'd be willing to trust Osborne's judgement (e.g.,
compared to Pederson's) as to the next coach.
