Good Morning Everyone:

I'm sure you're wondering what the connection is with these two organization is. Well, the following quote was taken from a Detroit newspaper:

"(Detroit)General manager Ken Holland believes a residual resentment remains from the owners' lockout three years ago. If you take away something once thought irreplaceable and people comfortably adjust to life without it, they no longer consider it essential when it returns."

The second sentence is going to be an important statement as far as Nebraska football goes. If things continue as they are around here (in Nebraska) folks are bound to find other things to do and discover "hey I don't miss it as much as I thought I did", and consequently lose more and more interest in the program. 

I did not attend the Ball State game, because quite honestly I was tired from all of the hype of the USC game and I was not at all anxious to sit through another four plus hour football game. Now after last night's events I'm not even sure I'm going to show up for the Oklahoma State game. This is not a good sign.
