Hopefully, the football team, while a large part of the Athletic
Department, remains a minor part of the University of Nebraska -
Lincoln. Don't you think it might be over-reacting to fire the UNL
Chancellor for a misjudgment, bad as it was, in deferring to the
foolish and egotistical Athletic Director in how to operate the
Athletic Deparment. What is your judgement of Perlman's performance
in his principal responsibilities as the chief adminstrator of UNL
in its teaching, research, and outreach missions?
