The more I think about this, the more I realize there's one thing that
really upsets me about this.

 

Fahey could have very well put together a full proposal for both stadium
locations (don't kid yourself, they never did more than a cursory glance at
Rosenblatt's area).  Even if what Fahey said was true, that it would take a
lot more money to build Rosenblatt, why not put both bids together and let
the people vote.

 

Even if it came back as double the price of NODO, at least the people would
have a say.  This is going to both be Fahey's legacy and the final nail in
his political coffin here in NE.
