[Husker] Another change of pace

The Husker volleyball team continued their dominance yesterday with yet
another sweep of Big XII #17 Kansas St (30-16, 30-16, 30-25).

 

That's 11 straight sweeps for NU which is absolutely incredible.  In fact,
the only team NU didn't sweep this year was #5 UCLA at the Qwest where they
won 3-1.  The win takes them to a perfect 13-0 and a 39-1 game record.

 

The Huskers are 7-0 against Top 25 opponents, and 19 of their 40 games
they've held the opposition to under 20.

 

One of the better stories has been sophomore Kori Cooper who has had double
digit kills for 3 straight Big XII matches (looks like the future is also
very bright).  She also had a team season high 7 blocks.

 

Pavin turned in the usual National Player of the Year performance with 16
kills and 5 blocks.

 

This team is the real deal and as I said before, probably the best
volleyball team NU's ever had and that says quite a lot.
