I've heard a lot of people say Marlon's an average back at best.  Maybe
they're right, but here's some things to chew on:

 

. Yards per game he's 17th in the country at 113.
. He's 27th in all purpose yards which combines rush/pass/ret. He's #6 when
you take out players with return yardage.
. He averages 154 total yards per game
. Other than USC (where the o-line was manhandled, he had 74 yds) he's had
over 120 all-purpose yards every game.
. He averages 5.2 yards per attempt, not too shabby considering nobody else
with more than 5 carries is even close. FYI, the beloved BJax averaged 5.3
with better line play, IMO and he wasn't nearly as good catching the ball
out of the backfield.

 

Doesn't sound too bad to me.
