I understand your point Alan, but fact of the matter is, this is TOTALLY
different.  Solich's team might as well been playing a different sport and
the transition might be just as hard IMO (exaggerating, of course).

That being said, I think you hit the nail on the head.  The transition is
complete on offense in my mind (which I give Cally full credit for).  The
problem is on the other side of the ball.  Cally may have a tough decision
on his hand if the defense continues to struggle for the rest of the year.

I don't know what more can be said about Coz.  He's had a lot of chances in
a lot of places and more often than not, his defenses are average or below.

Am I 100% sold on Callahan?  No.  But I am more than willing to see what he
can do for the next 4-5 years, I think he's earned that.  Coz?  Well...not
so much.  I realize some of the blame comes back to Callahan on that one, as
it is his job to hire quality coordinators as well, but I'll give a HC a
little more rope there as he 'tries someone out' for the job.
