I wonder if Pellini is waiting on Les Mile's decision. Seems difficult
to believe TO would leave TG twisting in the wind though.

Subject: [Husker] Gill or Pelilni?

I really hate speculation, especially on the Internet ;-) but, I really
think the next head coach will be Pelini. If Osborne was going to pick
Gill, then why would he have not announced this yet? I realize he may
not have made up his mind yet (which is VERY possible) but I have a
feeling if he was going to pick Gill he would've wanted to waste no time
whatsoever getting him in there (recruiting, stability, etc.).

I am betting Pelini is announced as head coach before Monday, but after
the SEC championship game (where I also feel LSU will be greatly
distracted by all this and probably lose).

So, not only can Osborne get a coach, he can also stick it to an SEC
team without even having to play one!

Although I can't see Gill leaving Buffalo unless it's a step up, I would
love to see a Gill/Pelini combo. I don't think either one of these guys
is willing to play 'second fiddle' at this point in their careers,
however.

The only doubt I have about this is after reading in the OWH that
Osborne met with a kid who already verbally committed to Buffalo, which
to me would seem very un-TO-like if Gill was going to stay there, but
what do I know.
