First, WF and LSU will be in bowl games and Buffalo will not.
Second, it's not uncommon at all for an assistant to leave their team before
the bowl game (see Buddy Wyatt to us last year). Maybe a little bit of a
stretch for HC's, although HC's have taken jobs and stayed with their
current program until after the bowl game (see Urban Meyer to Florida).

I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if Gill was our next coach. It's been
reported (by ESPN) that it's down to Gill and BP. No insider information
here, but I would put it at 65/35 in favor of Gill. For 3 reasons:
1) Gill and TO are VERY good friends and TO has already said they talk at
least once a week
2) Gill has HC experience
3) Gill reportedly interviews a lot better than BP
