thought 1 - aren't WF and LSU (and Buffalo, perhaps - I don't follow all the details of the "post-season" closely enough) going to bowl games? ; my point is, would you want your coach / coordinator removed before your bowl game?

thought 2 - I have three close friends who are all big college football fans, although none is a Husker (one is from VT, one from Maryland, and the third from BC).  Naturally, they've been asking me "so, who will your new coach be?" twice a day.  When I tell them the daily details (as I collect from this list) about all the flight plans and rumors and ESPN stories, all three of them reply "you'll get Turner Gill"
