I don't understand the knock on Turner that he is too young. He's in his mid 40s, Grobe is in his 50s and he's too old. Somehow the youngest guy (Bo Pelini) is somehow just right?! 

I read an article in the LJS this morning that TO thinks the next head coach needs to understand the Nebraska culture, where North Platte is and where Oshkosh is. Hey, my family has property in Oshkosh and I drive by North Platte to get there.... does that mean he's looking at ME for head coach? 

I'm good with BP as coach and I'm REALLY good with TG as coach. I think Turner has been around the block enough to be able to put together a quality staff that would get the defense back in blackshirts again. Both of the Williams brothers (Jimmy and Toby) are on his D staff right now. I have every confidence that he could use the players we have at Nebraska to their best abilities. He seems to suffer from the syndrome that you can't be an expert in your own backyard.
