Let's be realistic about at least one topic...

 

If Turner Gill is hired as the Head Coach there is ZERO chance that Bo
Pelini will come here as the DC/Asst HC. ZERO!

 

Bo already holds that position at LSU (which like it or not is a much
better program right now) and is first in line to take the HC position
at LSU should Les Miles decide to leave for Michigan (or some other
opportunity). 

 

Conversely, if  Bo Pelini is hired as Head Coach there is an ALMOST ZERO
chance that Turner Gill will come here as a OC/Asst HC. 

 

Turner already has a HC job at a Bowl Subdivision school and was just
his conference's Coach of the Year. Other than his loyalty to T.O. - why
would he take a backwards step and demotion to come back to Nebraska?
Likely he wouldn't. 

 

Clearly this is an either Turner or Bo type situation and any dreams by
Husker Fans of a staff with both Turner and Bo is just that - A DREAM!

 

And that assumes that either one of them will actually get the job!!
