I see it different. The fifth winningest coach in the nation with a new
staff? I don't think so.

SP was trying to fix something that needed to be improved.
I love what Oz did with Callahan. I may be wrong, but I think Osborne sent a
very strong message with his statements.
What I am assuming is with his question, "do I need to get rid of
assistants?" Callahan (whom I believe knew a change was necessary) was
hoping to be able to go to his coaches and say, "I'd really like to keep
you, but the COF is making me let you go." Osborne wasn't going to be
trapped in that.
Also his statement, "you are the head coach, you are responsible for
everything". In other words, I don't care how great the offense is, you are
responsible for how good the defense is and how good the special teams are.
So no Bill you are not doing an outstanding job in every area.
