FW: [Husker] It sure feels like Turner

We'll put Josh. At this point it is not the right thing to do. Frank was
more about leveraging the Heritage system before it was dismantled. The
Ohio board is saying that Baylor is interested in Solich though.

I did enjoy Turner's bio. Especially this:

"It is our intention to build a team that will be physical and attacking on
both sides of the ball, as well as on special teams. Pure "House of
Osborne" stuff.

I was also impressed with Turners staff (on paper anyway). His OC (Barrett)
was a successful HC in the CFL for five years and played CFL QB for 14. I
read on the Ohio board that Buffalo ran (what seemed like) a totally
different offense almost every game. Barrett and Gill together have
certainly got a huge number of tricks in their bag.

2 - With all the hubbub about Solich over the past 4 years, I find it
very interesting that I haven't heard one person (maybe I just missed
it) call for Solich to be interviewed and brought back to NU!
(Ducking from the tomatoes being thrown at me!) :-)

I think even those of us that think it was a huge mistake to fire Solich
know that it would be too divisive and not the right thing to do at this
time. With Pederson gone -- I'm willing to try to pretend like it's 1997
again. Mulligan.
