 Not sure why I am getting into this fray at all, but I can't resist.

I have felt all along that there was some kind of "history" between Pederson
and Solich that brought on this fiasco.  I don't buy into any of the rumors
about infidelity or alcohol problems.  I think it was some slight that
Pederson imagined and he was vindictive enough to drag the Huskers through
all the muck to get back at FS.  Of course I can't prove it, but nothing
else seems to make much sense.

     You are particularly amazing.  Why do you really care what I think or
     don't think?  Most on the list don't care at all how I feel about
     anything.  But, sigh, I'll try to answer your question.  Callahan with
     the current staff intact has got to go.  If adjustments could be made
to
     the staff then maybe not.  That is the best I can answer the question.
     On one hand you have an offense that is pretty good to very good.  On
the
     other hand you have a defense that was pretty bad.  If you want an
answer
     then everything as it is he's gone.  But, I think that is pretty
obvious.
