I think Barry Alvarez is too old to be head coach let alone AD and head coach.

Personally, no matter how great of a coach Alvarez was, I would hope NU's
next hire as HC does NOT try to assume the role of wearing both hats. I
think simply being HC will be time-consuming enough. 

TO never tried to do both. My memory's foggy: the Bobfather wasn't both
in his final years, was he ?
