[Husker] fans

Bob Beach in his legitimate role of List iconoclast, has questioned the
NU fans as not being unique, and painted the picture that most of them
(us) are merely only win-hungry (Just win, baby, WIN).

Here's what a time-honored straight-shooting outsider says of NU fans. I
suspect his view is slightly more accurate  :-)

"When his football team struggled on the field, Callahan had little
support off the field. Nebraska fans have earned a reputation as the best
in the nation. In an era when the behavior of fans is so often over the
top it's hard to know where the top is anymore, Huskers fans still treat
their opponents with respect...But for their support, they demand
competence."
