Again, they could be meeting with the search firm reps...but why?  No reason at all to fly to Atlanta to meet face to face with them.  A search firm is not part of, nor privy to, any communication between the two parties whatsoever.  They find and screen candidates and facilitate the hook up, but they are generally not present for that.  It's certainly not impossible, but also not necessarily likely.
