[Husker] Saturday's Meeting

If TO doesn't can BC on Saturday, he should attend the basketball game with him. The crowd would love the shots of BC on the big screen. I remember seeing Steve Pederson on the big screen at the game in the Qwest Center 2 years ago.

BC's demise isn't just this crummy season. His best season at NU was equal to TO's worst and Solich's 2nd worst. No one on this list ever said BC was intent on running the program into the ground. However, that's been the outcome. I always thought he was a pretty decent guy, just a crummy coach.

the announcement at halftime?
I think the article on Callahan was more than a "fluff piece" - it made some
points the guys riding shotgun on the bus don't want to see - most
importantly it shows his one goal when he came here was not to drive the program into
the ground. He is a conscientious, caring, private coach who had a bad year.
Remember at the beginning of the year- a good portion of us were
optimistic. Looking back - the USC game took the wind out of the sails - for NE and
maybe even USC.
