Rod, I think there is a strategy Husker fans should employ to ensure a victory! : ) 

Better yet, sounds like the bookies should load up on Big Red, wear their Buffalo clothes to the game, and throw crap on the field. : )   Easy Money! 

Concerning your gripes with the short school weeks, the schools in France go even less and everything there seems to go well.  : )

Incidentally, it will be a strange crowd Friday.  This is the first  
time that CU students have had the entire Thanksgiving week off, so  
it is expected that coupled with the early start time (10am there),  
not many students will be in the crowd.

I have two nieces in college that have been home since Sunday.   
What's up with that?  Colleges nowadays are giving the whole week  
off?  The University of Iowa is going to pay their professors extra  
JUST to have a class on Fridays?  Our K-8 system went to requiring a  
certain number of hours instead of days of school. Now they can go to  
school for literally 2 hours here and there, and it adds up to a day  
eventually.  What can you get done in 2 hours?  In 15-minute  
classes?  IMHO our educational system is getting so lax anymore....
