What these raw numbers fail to take into account is the makeup of
those players. While LSU is heavy with juniors and seniors who were
recruited out of HS and thus have been in LSU's program for 4 or 5
years, NU's defense has a good number of JUCO's and freshmen who have
had, at most, one or two years in our system. That kind of
differential in experience is certainly as much a factor as star
rankings. Besides, I thought star ratings were not to be trusted?
